John Lewis launched their new Alpine Edit this week to help us all bring the Alps in to our homes this Christmas.
Inspiration comes from the cosy winter wonderlands of the Christmas markets and log cabins of Chamonix each year. The Edit conjures up images of falling snow, wooden chalets, roaring fires and pine Christmas trees. If your ideal Christmas is Fairisle-style prints, gingerbread houses, faux fur blankets, hot chocolate, and spice-scented candles, this is for you.
John Lewis can’t guarantee falling snow, of course, but they can make sure we all experience Alpine chic this Christmas. Many of the pieces from this range also work well throughout the year. Take a look at the gorgeous Alpine Tableware on the left, for example.
Grab a vin chaud and check out my favourite picks of the Edit. It’s perfect if you’re going all out with a ski chalet theme or just looking to add hints of a rustic snowy charm to your Christmas decor.
“Our Alpine EDIT offers a festive chalet backdrop to your seasonal gift-giving. Lose yourself in a contemporary hideaway that’s sheltered from the snow-covered slopes, and enjoy the cosiness of the après-ski” John Lewis
The Edit is available now on the John Lewis website.
